Midline sagittal image of the lumbar spine demonstrates mild degenerative changes including mild decrease signal in a number of discs compatable with desiccation and slight generalized bulging. High signal cerebral spinal fluid outlines the dural sack and nerve roots of the cauda equina. Normal suppression of marrow fat and subcutaneous fat on this fat suppressed T2 weighted sequence changes.
